On 11th February the School once again held its annual Russian language marathon for 10th-11th form pupils. The teams were to relay along a route comprising 6 stages and at each stage to do a series of complex tasks connected with aspects of linguistics.

Linguistics School senior pupils spent two weeks studying English in England during which they presented country studies projects. The English Department assisted pupils in choosing and preparing themes prior to the trip.

During the festive season a group of senior pupils from Linguistics School continued their studies in Oxford and Cambridge. The fortnight study programme rounded off with presentations of project works.

10th December, 2014: Elina Khanukaeva took part in a writing competition for pupils from Russia and Germany on the theme of: 70 years without war and won it. Elina was awarded with a free 9-day study trip to the German town of Hemer. Congratulations!

3rd December, 2014: Like all Russian 11th form pupils our pupils wrote their final essays, the result of which determines entry to the Schol Leaving Certificate exams for 2015 leavers.
