Young tourists from The Linguistic School and The British Lyceum
Linguistic School and British Lyceum Primary went camping on September 11. That day students experienced a lot of exciting things that are almost impossible to describe in one article. Such an experience was challenging both for our pupils and their parents. The latter were responsible for organising and judging competitions. Year 3 and 4 pupils had to accept the challenge straight after leaving the school building. They made a long way from school to Sokolniki park. Everybody did well. A delicious breakfast served outdoors helped to recover energy. Then a real competition started in the park. There were 8 teams, each with its own name, motto and chant. The pupils had to do special tasks at each of 7 stations, i.e. use compass, head through the obstacle course, put up a tent. After succeeding at all these challenges, young explorers had lunch outdoors. At the end of the day high achievers were awarded in different nominations. It was such a memorable experience. It was a very special day full of interaction between pupils, nature, parents and teachers.
