7 : 3 to Linguistic School Pupil team

On October 13, the game between 2 Linguistic School teams was played - the teachers’ team and the pupils’ team. The match took place on the Sokolniki "Leader" sport centre  pitch with ardent support of school fans. The teams line-ups were as follows: Amet Volodarsky (captain) , Ivan Yashenkov , Ilya Voishko , Artem Prudnik , Ulan Mamytov , Marat Balabekov , Mihail Demin (substitute player) - the teachers’ team; Rafael Sarkisyan (captain) , Ilya Strezev , Mihail Seleznev , Artemy Avilov , Aleksey Kryuchkov , Maksim Melashenko , Grigory Shmerev , Matvei Eromchik , Oleg Meksha , Dmitriy (Buffon) Kovin , Erik Aleksanyan (substitute player) - the pupils’ team. In the first half, the game was almost on equal footing and ended up with the score 2:1 in favor of pupils, however, the second half ended up pupils' team clearly dominating the game with 5 more goals while the teachers’ team only managed to bag another 2 goals. Goal makers were: Eromchik Matvei (4) , Rafael Sarkisyan (2) , Ilya Strezev (1 goal and 2 assists) for the pupils; Amet Volodarsky (1), Ivan Yashenkov (1), Artem Prudnik (1) for the teachers. 

The teachers’ team must have got on Fortune’s nerves somehow as they were cursed with 2 own goals. 

Live coverage of this most interesting and incredible match was conducted by 9th form pupils: Elchin Gafarov , Ann Viktorovskaya and Alexander Shimanovsky. After the game winning team received a well-deserved award - the football cup and for the players of both teams a memorable prize - the golden boot was given.

Nevertheless the victory was achieved in the name of friendship , sport , health , initiative , and fervor. This game boosted the spirits of all who took part: the teams, and pupils and teachers making up the spectators. A rematch has been planned for the end of the first half-term.
