The results of the Russian Bear Cub-2016 school contest.

Linguistics, as seen by pupils, is but a compendium of stodgy rule.  With the intention of eradicating this misconception in mind, the international contest “Russian Bear Cub- Linguistics for all” was introduced in 2000; the number of participants runs into seven figures every year. Linguistics school pupils took part in the contest, too. We would like to make a pointed reference to this year’s prize-winners:
