An excursion to the state museum of Alexander Pushkin
On 11th of November, 5th form pupils, accompanied by their teacher, Maria Alexandrovna Fyodorova, had a marvellous opportunity to visit the State Museum of Alexander Pushkin . The main focus of the visit was Pushkin's epoch and his place in it. The main exhibition takes place in the main halls of the Khrushchev - Seleznev Manor House , which is located on one of the oldest streets of Moscow, viz. Prechistenka. The exhibition is dedicated to Pushkin's life and works, his contemporaries and the fictional characters he brought into literary existence. Numerous portraits of people eminent at the time, manuscripts of the great poet and certain arts and crafts works can be found among the exhibits. Quite a few of these objects once belonged to people of Puskin's social milieu.
