Young journalist from our Youth News at preview of choreographic performance of Anzhelika Kholina’s Othello in Vakhtangov Theatre
On 7th November Youth News journalists and Linguistics School pupils, Olya Shelukhina and Kristina Serebrenikova, went through a journalistic baptism of fire when they attended the preview of Anzhelika Kholina’s Othello in Vakhtangov Theatre! The girls got into the event through the service entrance, watched the play and took an interview with the cast just like the pros.
Admits Anzhelika Kholina, director-choreographer, “In theatre I want to speak about love, relationships and people’s destinies and so I chose Othello, the great work of Shakespeare, in which he presents an unsettling truly staggering tragedy of a man who kills the most precious thing to him and deprives his life of all meaning.” For more impressions on the play and exclusive interviews with theatre and cinema stars: Grigory Antipenko, Olga Lerman, Viktoria Dobrovanova and Shikin Drama School student: Pavel Kardenas you can see in the covers of the next issue of our newspaper “Youth News”.
