“Special features in self-study of the English language” Seminar

Linguistics School, MosInYaz Courses and RU037 Cambridge Language Assessment Centre conducted the first in a series of educational seminars. The “Special features in self-study of the English language” seminar took place on 30^th Novemeber at Skolkovo Technopark, home to analytical project RosVuz.  

The seminar was opened by Amet Volodarski, Cambridge Language Assessment Centre Director underlining the importance of implementing new technologies and methods, including blended learning in foreign languages, in the learning process. The speakers were: Ludimila Gorodetskaya, , PhD Culture Studies, MSU Professor, Cambridge University Publishing methodologist; Julia Sobeshanskaya, MSU Foreign languages and Regional studies Faculty lecturer; Daryl McCreery, MIFL Linguistics School Director of British Programmes and Karina Dubrovitskaya, MIFL Department of International Co-operation and Certification Director, UKEnglish authorial committee representative.

This seminar was the first event in a series dedicated to methodological features in foreign language study and was aimed at both foreign language teachers and learners. MosInYaz seminars may be viewed off- and on-line alike.
