Как рождается мороженое
Ploughing on ahead with their activities beyond their syllabi, the British Lyceum made a trip yesterday to a production plant to see what goes into making ice-cream! Year 6 class particularly enjoyed the event as they are currently studying what goes into making films and what processes take place to getting food on supermarket shelves. The event itself was both educational and fun! Children witnessed freshly made ice-cream enter a freezer (but not before trying a fresh unfrozen ice-cream for themselves!) They drew patterns with ice-cream sauce, sampled a delicious variety of ice-creams, and learned about the history of ice-cream - from Marco Polo bringing ice-cream to Europe from China, to Mikoyan’s ice-cream distribution during the great USSR. A fabulous experience that not only children but adults will remember for a long time!
